Easter in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach: Your Guide to Family Fun
March 20, 2025
So much to love about Spring on the Alabama Gulf Coast! Long, lazy days at the beach, dining at waterfront restaurants, and taking the kids to the local attractions would probably rank in the top three. And while any trip to the area promises delightful adventures and fun surprises, Easter is particularly special, with a variety of festive activities for the whole family to enjoy. If you plan to be in the area during Easter or the days leading up to it, here are some fun things to do in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach!
Easter Egg Hunts
Hunting for Easter eggs is a beloved tradition and a surefire way to make your little ones smile. Here are a few places they can run and play while searching for hidden treasures!
Flora-Bama Easter Egg Hunt
The kids will have a great time making crafts and getting their faces painted before the Easter Bunny makes a special skydiving entrance. Afterward, watch them hunt for Easter eggs on the beach, then take them for photos. Don’t forget to bring your own baskets for this unforgettable event!
Lulu’s Easter Egg Dash
Renowned for its laid-back atmosphere and scenic views, Lulu’s also offers a variety of engaging activities for kids, including a ropes course and a beach arcade. Come Easter Sunday; they can race to find hidden eggs while you enjoy some delicious fresh seafood and a Bushwhacker!
The Wharf Easter Egg Hunt
With over 5,000 hidden eggs to discover, free activities, and a DJ spinning tunes, we’re pretty sure the kids will thank you for this one. Throw in pony rides, face painting, and photos with bunnies, and you’ve got a super special event your family won’t want to miss!
Church at the Shores Easter Egg Hunt
Festivities at this Easter celebration include an egg hunt, Kona Ice treats, bounce houses, and more! Afterward, swing by The Wharf for some afternoon shopping and a movie!
Bunnies and Baskets at OWA
With thrilling rides, an AMC theater, local boutiques, and fantastic restaurants, OWA offers a wide selection of entertainment year-round. This spring, join the fun at Bunnies and Baskets, featuring hands-on crafts, photo-ops with the Easter Bunny, and an Easter egg hunt across the festival grounds!
Plan Your Own Fun
Of course, you could always give The Beach Moms a call. Beyond grocery shopping and delivery, creating personalized gift baskets, and coordinating private dinner parties, they can also help you plan a fabulous Easter celebration the kids will talk about for years to come!
