It’s a prime opportunity to enjoy some of the best live music in the region. So pack your cutoffs and favorite tees, grab your friends, and bring in the season the right way.

It’s heating up on the Alabama Gulf Coast, and we’ve got the scoop on the hottest summer concerts and live music venues in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach!

Summer Concerts at The Wharf in Orange Beach

Beyond the beach, summer concerts at The Wharf in Orange Beach are the season’s highlight, with headliners performing all summer. Check out the concert calendar below, book your tickets, and plan a summer vacation you’ll never forget!

Luke Bryan – June

A Georgia native and five-time Country Music Association “Entertainer of the Year,” Luke Bryan is among the best-selling music artists. Whether you prefer sad ballads or boot-stomping singalong tunes, this American Idol judge can easily get the party started with popular country songs like Country Girl (Shake it for Me), Drink a Beer, and That’s My Kind of Night.

Dierks Bentley – June

Recipient of numerous awards, including “Top New Artist,” “Country Song of the Year,” and “Video of the Year,” Dierks Bently is by no means new to the country music scene. With nearly a dozen studio albums, this singer/songwriter has amassed a list of fan favorites and chart toppers, including ‘Somewhere on a Beach’ and ‘What Was I Thinkin.”

Parker McCollum – July

Equal parts blues, rock, and soul, Parker McCollum is Americana in the best possible way, packing nationwide venues with hits like ‘Burn it Down’ and ‘Handle on You.’ Named “New Male Artist of the Year” by the Academy of Country Music Awards, this talented country crooner plays violin, harmonica, and guitar and does it all while staying true to his Texas roots.

Kane Brown – August

Gaining a mass social media following playing cover songs, Kane Brown hit the mother lode with his viral version of George Strait’s ‘Check Yes or No.’ Relatable lyrics and catchy tunes landed him as an opener for notable bands. Now he’s a full-blown headliner, playing infectious songs like ‘Bury Me in Georgia’ and ‘Thank God’ in front of sold-out crowds.

Styx and Foreigner – August

Styx emerged on the scene in the early 70s, successfully merging the sounds of rock guitar, piano, and synthesizers and fusing pop and soft rock in a fresh new way. Songs like ‘The Grand Illusion’ and ‘Renegade’ were just a few of their songs to make the top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Foreigner, a British-American rock band, arrived on the scene shortly after, selling more than 80 million records worldwide. Staples of their discography include ‘Feels Like the First Time’ and ‘Cold as Ice,’ and both will have you up and dancing before you know what hit you.

Jordan Davis – August

This Louisiana-born singer-songwriter and LSU alum moved to Nashville to successfully secure a recording contract and hone his signature sound. His debut hit, “Single You Up’ followed by the CMA song of the year ‘Buy Dirt,’ indicates he shows no signs of slowing down.

Train and REO Speedwagon – August

Formed in San Fransisco in the early 90s, Train emerged in the post-grunge era, offering a refreshing mix of pop and alternative rock. Songs like ‘Meet Virginia’ and ‘Drops of Jupiter’ solidified their commercial success, but their catchy release, ‘Hey Soul Sister,’ sealed the deal.

Known by a generation as simply “REO,” this Illinois band began cultivating their following in the early 70s. Starting as a college group playing local gigs at frat houses and college bars, they eventually made it big with ‘Riding the Storm Out.’ A string of popular hits followed, including ‘Time for Me to Fly’ and ‘Can’t Fight This Feeling,’ among other beloved songs.
